Introduction

Welcome to Adinkra VR, a culturally immersive virtual reality experience developed by Afrilogic Solutions Limited (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Adinkra VR application (“the App”) on the Meta Quest platform and other compatible VR devices globally.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the App

Overview of the App

Adinkra VR is a single-player, offline rhythm and cultural education game that introduces players to traditional Ghanaian music, Adinkra symbolism, and African heritage. The App is designed for a global audience and is available in countries that support the use of virtual reality headsets and games.

It is suitable for players aged 13 and above. Children under 13 may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

NO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

Adinkra VR does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data through its core functionality. It does not require user registration or create user accounts. However, platform providers (e.g., Meta via the Meta SDK or OpenXR) may collect anonymized usage or hardware data for performance and analytics.

ACCEPTABLE USE

By using the App, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and not to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App;
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the App for commercial purposes without prior written consent;
  • Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of Afrilogic Solutions Limited or any third party.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any violations of these Terms.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content within Adinkra VR including but not limited to software code, graphics, symbols, sound effects, educational materials, and UI design is the exclusive intellectual property of Afrilogic Solutions Limited or its licensors.

You may not use any content from the App without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

USER-GENERATED CONTENT (EXTERNAL)

The App does not include built-in functionality for user-generated content. However, we welcome you to create and share external content (e.g., gameplay videos, reviews, cultural commentary) for non-commercial purposes.

If you wish to use Adinkra VR content commercially, please contact us at adinkravr@afrilogicsolutions.com to request permission.

AVAILABILITY AND PLATFORM COMPATIBILITY

Adinkra VR is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.

While we aim to maintain compatibility with supported platforms, we make no guarantee regarding uninterrupted availability, performance, or continued support.

HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE

Use of virtual reality applications may cause motion discomfort or fatigue. By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use in a safe, open environment;
  • Take regular breaks during gameplay;
  • Supervise younger users as required;
  • Follow Meta’s official VR Health and Safety Guidelines.

You assume all risks related to your use of VR hardware and applications.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Afrilogic Solutions Limited shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
  • Loss of data, loss of use, or device malfunction;
  • Any claims arising from use, inability to use, or reliance on the App.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to discontinue its use.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Ghana.

If you are using the App from outside Ghana, you are responsible for compliance with local laws where applicable.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted via the Meta Store listing or our official website.

Your continued use of the App following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
